Right now, our friend Jason Ekle and his family are walking by faith through one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

For the past 25 days, he has been hospitalized battling severe liver disease. During this time, he has endured multiple paracentesis procedures to drain fluid from his abdomen just to find relief and breathe more comfortably. He still has fluid around his heart, and his body continues to fight daily.

His greatest need now is a liver transplant. Which would be his best chance at healing, restoration, and more time with the people who love him most. They are waiting and praying for the call that a liver becomes available, trusting in God’s perfect timing even in the uncertainty. Until that day comes, Jason will remain at the hospital under close care.

As they stand in faith for a miracle, the financial burden continues to grow. Extended hospitalization, ongoing procedures, and the transplant process ahead bring overwhelming medical expenses. With lost income during this time, the weight of it all is heavy.
