My name is Linda Colletta, but you can call me SuperLinda. I’m an artist, a 12-year playa veteran, and ride with Native Tongues. This dusty city has given me so much—I show up every year to give something meaningful back.
For the past eight years, I’ve brought over 18,000 Prayer Sticks to Burning Man as a gift to the community—offering a simple, beautiful way for people to write down a dream, a prayer, a goodbye, or something they’re ready to let go of. These sticks are then taken to the Temple, where they’re burned in a collective ritual of remembrance, release, and renewal.
This project is inspired by the ancient and cross-cultural tradition of prayer sticks—used in Indigenous, yogic, and spiritual practices around the world to carry intentions into the unseen. Whether honoring grief or celebrating growth, prayer sticks serve as a bridge between the physical and the symbolic.
This year, I hope to bring 5,000 more to the playa—but I need your help. Your donation supports the creation and transport of these sticks, but more importantly, it makes space for thousands of people to connect with their truth and find healing in the fire.
A small gesture with a big impact—thank you for being part of it. See you in the dust!
