Support the Crahen's fight against metastatic breast cancer

Joy Crahen is a wonderful mother of three beautiful children ages 7, 5, and 3, a full time homeschool mom, and loving wife of Patrick Crahen. She still maintains her joyful spirit but in January 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Joy continued through a full treatment plan with chemo, radiation, and surgery. That plan ran its course until May of this year when Joy was released as a "survivor".

One month later, she was having some symptoms that led the Crahens to another scan, in which they discovered that she has a large brain tumor. Since commencing treatment for that in June, the cancer has spread to her spine, and she has been diagnosed with leptomeningeal disease. Two weeks after that diagnosis, on October 21st, a new scan revealed that she has three+ new metastasis on the nerves of her brainstem. Her treatment is extensive and ongoing and may even include needing to move out of state for a few months to a different cancer center.

Western medicine alone does not seem to have the answers Joy needs for healing but rather fights a battle of attrition. The Crahens are pursuing all viable means for Joy's healing. As some of her treatment is integrative rather than the "standard of care" that insurance covers, a large portion is out of pocket. Likely, eventually all of it will be out of pocket as they plan to head out of state to a cancer center in Arizona that has more promising treatment that isn't the "standard of care."

The Crahens are hopeful, joyful, and leaning on Christ's everlasting arms. They are safe and secure in the Lord and His unchanging goodness and mercy. They are so humbled and grateful for all of the support they have received thus far. "To God be the glory! Great things He has done!" and they believe, will do.

The Crahens ask for your prayers for Joy's healing and would appreciate any financial support as they pursue treatment that will lead to her restoration. They gratefully acknowledge that it is the Lord who heals and He can do so with or without human means. Please join them praying in faith for a miracle. May the Lord Jesus be glorified.
