Pray for Roslainda and Joshue
Rosalinda 80 years and Joshue and 82 years just found their dream to immigrate to Canada from Peru as Permanent Resident. They moved to Canada in 2019 and immediately start loving Canada even when they barely speak English.
Rosalinda was diagnostic with cancer moths after her arrival, but Joshue is strong and healthy. If you really believe in love this couple and their more 50 years of married really represent unconditional love in any of the slow and short steps of their daily walk.
They travelled to Peru to visit their family say good bay and start treatment in Canada. They are shine and beloved grandparents, incredible parents, aunt, and dear friend to so many people.
All the flights were cancelled, they got stuck in Lima-Peru and because they were immune compromise, they were waiting for the vaccination to flight to Canada again. They never left their house and try to avoid as much contact with other people as they can.
They started to feeling cold and they though it was just a cold. Rosalinda and Joshue were tested positive for Covid 19 and the nightmare started for them.
If you need to pass a Covid 19 test in Peru you have to pay a little more than $100.00. Rosalind and Joshue are not admitted in the Hospitals. Hospitals are full of Covid 19 so there is no room for anyone and patients are forming long lines up outside waiting for some room to be available to get attention.
Their daughter Mary and Rosario were also tested positive.
The only alternative to survive for them is to get full care at home. Oxygen for patients with Covid 19 cost more than 5 thousand and you have to recharge the oxygen every 4-6 hours. Each recharge cost $120 for a total of $360 per day. Nurses, Doctor, XRays, Medicine and a long post Covid 19 treatment is expected and hopefully in Canada. Private hospitals in Peru cost around 3 thousand per day for patients with Covid 19. All multiple by two as both are positive for Covid 19.
Days pass and both have some respiratory trouble, they have pneumonia and COVID-19. On the 3rd or so day of experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, their health deteriorated very rapidly due to the virus, and Joshue went into acute respiratory failure. Again no hospitals available and private hospitals are way to expensive for their budget.
Since they are COVID-19 positive, they are quarantined. No one can visit them but their son in Peru resigned his job to take care of their parents at home. He doesn’t have the virus buy he is risking his life to care about their parent. After three test this hero is still without the virus. Helping his parents, cleaning all the time, buying medicine and spending all his saving in his fight to try to save his parents. Their son in Canada expend already all his savings in trying to support the home care of their parents and sisters.
The situation is especially heartbreaking. We would give anything to just tell them how much we love them and to keep fighting.
The whole family are firmly fighting this virus, and we continue to pray for their full recovery.
I am Rosalinda and Joshue's son. All funds withdrawn will be provided to Rosalinda and Joshue to cover their medical bills and recovery costs including travelling to Canada where they can recover and get the vaccination. It is going to be a long way but with your help everything is possible.
Please no donation is too small and please feel free to spread this campaign as it is urgent.
Let's help Rosalinda and Joshue to win this battle.
Thank you,
Rosalinda and Joshue's family & friends
