Pray for Monty Gray

I am writing this on behalf of my entire family: Recently my brother, Monty, went to the ER for severe stomach cramps, the pain had become unbearable.  They performed a CT scan and immediately took him to surgery. The Doctors removed 2 large tumors and his entire colon. One tumor had overtaken his appendix, so it was removed also.  One of the tumors pushed his kidneys so far it perforated his bladder. They stitched the bladder as best they could and put the kidneys back in place. He went through many complications throughout the next 3 weeks and was finally able to go home with 2 drain tubes, a wound vac, and a catheter still in.  Five days later he was readmitted due to complications with the wound vac and an abscess. He has now been home since the middle of February. They have not been able to move forward with treatment because the abcess is still there. He will be going to MD Anderson in Houston over the next few weeks for tests to see how to stop the abscess from coming back, and to set up the treatment plan for the Stage 3 Rectal Cancer.   Most of this for the time being will be outpatient at MD Anderson. It has become overwhelming for him and our family. The radiation and chemotherapy we know will be expensive. While Medicare has already been helpful for a lot of medical expenses, there are still other things to pay for. He will have travel and overnight expenses for sure. We are asking for any amount of a donation to help out. It will go towards all of his expenses to get the proper care he needs. Your generosity is deeply appreciated. God Bless.
