Pray For Garrett

Hi, my name is Nicolas Juarez Jr, and I'm a Firefighter in Ft Worth. I'm raising money for one of our fellow retired Firefighter's sons in the ICU. I have worked with my brother for 20 years and have watched his kids grow up into young men. Garrett is his most youthful and was to walk the stage for high school graduation until this accident occurred. This is a great family, and it breaks our hearts to know that any parent would have to go through a horrific tragedy like this. At the same time, hitting so close to home for us all in our Department. Garrett was involved in a car accident last Thursday. He was ejected from his vehicle, sustaining several injuries such as skull base and neck fracture, multifocal hemorrhage brain contusions, broken femur, chest tube and on a ventilator. He has recently been placed on an ECMO machine that is now bypassing his heart and lungs to give them time to heal and rest. These funds will be used for extensive medical bills, including life-saving machines (ECMO, Ventilator), surgeries, neurologists, cardiologists, respiratory specialists, tests, CTs, X-rays and care in ICU Department.
