I am making this Go-Fund Me page for my beloved little cousin Araceli "Chiquis" Garcia. On August 25th, 2017 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. She was attending UC Davis at the time of her diagnosis and unfortunately had to leave her studies to fight for her life.  She moved back home to Morgan Hill, Ca, with her family and her strong supportive community of Saint Catherine's Church. Araceli has always kept her head up high to fight this battle with cancer and has a lot of faith that she will overcome. She has the strongest mindset, very positive and always connects with anyone she encounters due to the immense love she offers. Araceli has had more than 60 rounds of Chemotherapy, radiation, and has gone through an ovarian surgery though being treated at Stanford Health Hospital. Araceli has proven to her family and community that she will always rise up even through difficult times, maintaining a job as a Teachers Aid and going to school full time at Gavilan College, Gilroy. Araceli has been admitted several times since September 2019 due to bowel obstructions. On February 28th the doctors gave us the most terrifying news about her life coming to an end. Araceli did not give up there, she has continued to hold a strong faith and has been improving little by little. She was not able to consume foods or liquids the past weeks but shes fought so hard to be where she is today, on an all strict diet finally being able to drink liquids and soups. Her immediate family has taken days off work, driving to see her and stay the night in order to care and support her during her stay. We ask that you please pray, share and if you could donate anything possible to help her family pay for expenses needed during this time. This would help cover family and medical expenses; transportation, medicine, and food. Araceli hopes to make a bucket list in case she is able to get discharged and do those things she dreams about.
