Charlie, our beautiful 9 month old cockapoo fur baby has just been diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma in his liver and bone marrow. Within 24 hours of diagnosis we were told he would probably not make it through any treatment and that we should prepare for the worst. We were told the treatment would not cause him any pain but probably wouldn’t work. Before we went to see him we had already made our mind up that we would be saying goodbye to our little boy. But when he was brought into the room his tail was wagging and he was able to give me a big kiss. I knew we had to fight for him. He is having 48 hours of chemotherapy and hopefully this will get him well enough to come home, at least for a little while.
we have just found out that our insurance will not cover all his treatment and by the end of it will probably only fund 50%. But we are not going to give up on him because of money. If we can raise even a little towards his treatment it would mean the absolute world to us.
