Pray for Alethia

Donation protected
David and Elizabeth Wilt are embarking on a journey that no couple with young children ever hope to travel:

Their daughter, 7-year-old Alethia, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

Alethia has been admitted to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and is already receiving chemotherapy.

Doctors anticipate the treatment for Leukemia to last at least two years, so the funds in this account are intended to offset the expenses related to her care over that time. Besides these extra expenses, Elizabeth will be losing her income as a piano teacher, so hopefully this can help to fill that gap as well.

There will be many meals on the road, tolls traveling to and from Manhattan, parking fees in the city, prescriptions, medical bills, and other unexpected expenses. (Insurance is expected to cover a large portion of the medical costs, though it is unclear exactly how much at this time.)

The Wilts have dedicated their lives to serving God and others as church planters. David pastors Liberty View Baptist Church, in Staten Island, NY (a church they started 7 years ago). Their family includes two other children: 11-year-old Hezekiah and 3-year-old Zion.

As you consider giving, please pray for healing for Alethia, and pray for grace and strength for David, Elizabeth, Hezekiah, and Zion!

Thank you, and God Bless!
