Pray for Alejandro "Alex" Ponce
Donation protected
Good Samaritan Alex Ponce was tragically struck by a vehicle on Hwy 75 while attempting to help the victim of a second vehicular accident. He is currently in critical condition in the ICU at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho with a traumatic brain injury.
Alex is loved by many and is a single father of a ten-year-old son for whom he provides. He has deep roots in our community with a history of over 25 years of employment at Bigwood Bread and High Altitude Fitness. One of our community's hardest workers, Alex is a staple in our daily lives. He bakes our bread and works as a personal fitness trainer with a dedicated clientele.
Our friend Alex is the most hard-working, devoted father. He is truly one of the most generous, heart-centered, people anyone would ever wish to know. Alex would literally give you the shirt off of his back.
It comes as no surprise that he would risk his own well-being to help someone else in need.
We are praying our community will help relieve the financial burden that has ensued as a result of the accident.
Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated and will be used for his current hospitalization and life-saving procedures. He has survived one surgery and is currently facing another.
Please share this campaign with family and friends. Our community is famous for helping those we know and love as well as those we only know of.
Funds will go to beneficiary Silvia Romero, Alex's ex-wife and mother of his child Alessandro. She will oversee the management and withdrawal of donations while Alex is hospitalized. The money will be used to pay any medical expenses and for living expenses involved in childrearing.
