Hi, I am the niece of Belinda Heath. My sweet Aunt Benny was in a horrible car accident yesterday December 4th on her way to work, involving a semi where several of the details are still unknown. First and foremost, we are feeling so blessed that she is alive. To know her is to love her. She is a true gift from God and has the biggest heart. She is so selfless and this is heartbreaking for all who know and love her.

What we do know is this -

She is in the ICU in Louisville where she is fighting to have stable vitals. Yesterday their main focus was to find the source and control internal abdominal bleeding and this morning found out she has a brain bleed as well. Her pelvis has been shifted up out of its position due to the impact on her lower half. Both of her legs are broken. Her hip is disclosed. She is sedated and intubated. It is going to be such a long journey to recovery for her. We don't know what this is going to look like for her, but we want her to be able to heal and recover exactly as she needs to without the financial burden from being off work. Her bills will be incoming and on top of it there will be heavy medical bills.

The holidays are going to feel so different for her, and for family this year and years to come. There is a very long road ahead for her. If you would, please pray for her. Pray that her vitals becomes stable. Pray that her healing journey may be as quick and painless as possible. She is a strong woman and we have faith God is going to hold her hand through the hard times.
