Pray and Support Alesandro's Recovery

PLEASE READ: Update on Ale's Progress
I'm happy to share that I just spoke with Ale's dad, Bryan, and he confirmed that Ale is making positive progress. What a blessing! Thank God for bringing some hopeful signs to the Ramirez family, especially after facing their second major family health scare. It's incredible how quickly life can change due to something as unexpected as an infection. That is the latest I've gathered as of 9/27 10 pm.

Before I share the original notification post from Bryan and Amanda, I want to take a moment to reflect on the fragility of life and express my deep gratitude for knowing this amazing family and the impact they have on everyone around them.

God, we ask for your healing for Alessandro, and anyone able, to please consider helping the family as they face unforeseen hospital bills and missed work. Bryan, Mandy, Bella, and Ale, we love you all. Stay strong, and with God's grace, this too shall pass. God bless you all.

Our son is a very private person and we’ve always respected that about him. But it’s times like this when family needs prayers and positivity poured onto them, that you need to reach out.

Last week Alésandro was diagnosed with Mono. Usually not a big deal, other than pain and fever for a few weeks. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our son. After three visits to the ER he was admitted into the downtown hospital with severe throat pain, inability to swallow, and breathing issues.

Last night he suffered a code blue and we almost lost him due to his throat completely closing and blocking any airflow. Thank God for the nurses and doctors his life was saved and he was immediately intubated to get the proper treatment he needs to find out what is hurting our boy.

While he rests and heals, breathing, painless, and without worry, the doctors are working around the clock to find out what blocked his airway and causing his fever.

He is a warrior. He went 7 days with pain and suffering and he will get better.

Please pray for our son’s strength, the doctor’s and nurse’s ability to find the sickness, and that the antibiotics and medicine work to bring him back to health. The outpour from close friends, family, and teammates has been overwhelming.

God bless you all.

Update:

He’s stable on incredible supervision, sedated with a breathing tube and getting the antibiotics and pain management he needs to fight what ever is blocking his airway.

CT scan showed some fluid but they are hoping antibiotic handle; if not they will be removing manually.

They are taking him back down to the OR tomorrow to see if they need to do a tracheotomy or if the swelling has gone down.

Right now; he is at peace, asleep, breathing machine has him healthy, and we are blessed he didn’t choke to death.

Later today we find out the plan. But so far it sounds solid.

Thank you again for all your thoughts sand prayers.

Though we only ask for prayers, we’ve been asked how monetary assistance can be sent. @RamirezFilm & $RamirezFilm

Love you all

UPDATE:

Alé made it out of surgery safe and he is fighting his ass off.

When they went into his throat they discovered a severe infection with fluids that they can now use to find what is causing his illness.

His tracheotomy went well and he now has an easy way to breathe while they work on getting his throat healed.

Please continue to pray we have a long road ahead of us.
