Update:

Kaleigh had surgery on September 19th. She was in surgery for 12 hours and is now in ICU. The Drs said her strength and spirit have inspired them so much. They had to take 1/2 her tongue and make her a new flap with muscle out of her forearm and skin graph from her thigh. She has a trach to help her breathe from all the swelling and they had to place a feeding tube. Baby Jack is doing great. We are giving GOD praise and glory for all he is doing and for bringing her through this. She has a long journey of healing and recovery ahead. Please continue to pray for her! Kaleigh was diagnosed on July 7th 2025 with Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma. We found out on July 19th 2025 that she is (presently 5 months) pregnant. She has had several Drs appointments this past week and we now know she will have surgery within the next few weeks. It will be 10 hours with a 1-2 week hospital stay. I’m not going to go into all the details but she is going to have a lengthy recovery and a lot of therapy. The financial burden is a lot for them right now. She has a wonderful husband who has been the sole income during their marriage to allow her to stay home with their 3 older children who she homeschools. We have applied for health insurances but right now she has none. If you feel led to give, please do. Please help us pray that God will turn this around and this disease will be gone! Please pray for the pain to subside. Please pray for Hunter, Aiden, Liam, and Walker. Pray that God restores her health and heals her COMPLETELY. Pray for baby to be healthy and no harm will come to him. We know God is in control and has ordered each and every step of this journey, and he will get the glory out of this story!
