PRAXIS Youth Organizing Conference 2020

2020 is positioned to be a great year for young people looking to make a change. With so much potential for growth, we are called to harness this momentum and work towards creating a society that values community, love, and solidarity. Student groups and youth organizations from all over the world are actively working inside and outside the classroom towards a more socially just future and building connections across the country. In order to foster this web of communication, Prescott College’s K-20 Changemaker Campus will be hosting the PRAXIS Youth Organizing Conference, a youth-centric event on March 27th and 28th in Tucson Arizona in order to provide a space to share their work. PRAXIS is a convergence of youth where they will explore, learn, network, and collaborate on strategies to tackle social justice issues.  The conference is focused on supporting existing youth groups and inspiring new ones to emerge.

In this spirit, the conference is completely organized and funded through the organizing work of Changemaker Highschool students in collaboration with Prescott College’s Social Justice and Community Organizing masters cohort.

2020 is going to be a vital year for social change, your generous donations will directly fuel that change.
