Hi, my name is Swetha Kammili and Iam fundraising to support Praveen Boorle & family who is undergoing dialysis for Kidney disease and will need transplant in the future.

Praveen came to U.K as a student from India by taking a huge student loan and also his father taking out a personal loan with their residential home as a guarantee with big dreams and ambitions to secure a professional job. He hasn't secured one unfortunately and his student and personal loan is still close to £14000 which he has to pay.

His father's health isn't normal with a mental condition restricting him from working due to an accident a few years back. Praveen not only pays his loan every month but also supports his elderly parents as his father isn't working and also has to pay for his expenses here in the U.K - all out of his part time jobs and odd shifts. He expressed this as major worry to his friends a few times in the past.

He was struggling with heavy breathing, high B.P & vomitings last week and was admitted to A&E at King George hospital in Ilford. They said there is problem with his kidneys and he will require dialysis on a long term which has shocked him and his family to the core. He is still in denial as he is below 30 years and this hasn't yet sunken in for him.

They moved him to Royal Free Hospital in London where is currently undergoing dialysis. His visa is expiring in Feb 2026 and without a secure job, his chances of getting an extension is zero.

Once Praveen is discharged from the hospital, he would still need dialysis 3 times per week and he needs special care and also his diet would be restrictive. So although the treatment on NHS has been very effective, he will have to travel back to India shortly after his discharge to continue his dialysis so his mother can look after and care for him.

So, I started this fund raiser to raise some funds to help him and his family to provide some financial comfort for the months ahead as he may not be working for a long term while undergoing dialysis and also to help him clear some of his educational loan.
