Pranet's Eagle Scout Project: Flying Squirrel Nest Boxes

Hello, my name is Pranet Sirikonda and I am a Life Scout in Troop 428. During my time in Troop 428, I have served as a Scribe, Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, and as an SPL. As a scout, I have completed my National Youth Leadership Training(NYLT), staffed at NYLT Course Two- Nagatamen, and am a part of the Order of the Arrow.

I am now fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project. My project will be constructing six Southern Flying Squirrel Nest Boxes for Alum Creek State Park (3615 S Old State Rd , Delaware, OH). These boxes will provide a place for the flying squirrels to stay and take care of their babies, and can also be used for programming to educate people about Southern Flying Squirrels. The funds will be used to buy materials and supplies such as untreated softwood, hinges, and wood screws.
