Peace of Mind for Petra

Hi friends, my name is EJ Burns and I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend Petra Thornton. Petra was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer on July 2nd. The cancer has spread from hip to hip. The doctor is giving her a poor prognosis in beating this and is trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. This has been a complete shock to her, her kids and friends. She had been having chronic hip pain since January of this year but held off getting it checked for lack of insurance. Petra has been a single mom since 2012 after an unexpected divorce. She has dedicated her life to raising her twin daughters and an older son, often sacrificing her own needs, as moms often do. I am asking for financial assistance for her medical expenses that she does not have coverage for. She will be getting radiation starting next week to shrink the tumor and is possibly looking at chemo as well. Could you please help this selfless friend of mine with her needs? I would appreciate it so much.
