Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears! To fund me or not to fund me? That is your question!
I have been accepted to the Prague Shakespeare Company's summer intensive! This is quite an honor. I have the opportunity to work with master teachers from all around the world at Europe's premiere English-language classical theatre. I would have master classes during the day including training in Shakespearean acting, voice, stage combat, and more. The program culminates with four Shakespearean productions.
But, the course of true love never did run smooth -- all of this prestigious training comes at a price and I need YOUR help! I am raising money to pay for my tuition, room & board, and my plane ticket. I was fortunate enough to receive one of only four scholarships, bringing the total cost down from the original $7000, but I still can't do it without you. It is a dream of mine to study abroad and the fact that I could study Shakespeare, something I am so passionate about, makes it all the more incredible. I need to start making payments as soon as possible before they open up my spot to those on the waiting list. I hope to raise the full amount needed, but because I believe in this opportunity I am willing to spend up to $2,000 of my current college fund if I don't reach my full goal.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I hope that with your help I can make this dream a reality!
