This May, I am taking on the challenge of running the Prague Marathon to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. This marathon represents more than just a race; it is a testament to the incredible capabilities of the human body and spirit. I want to show that with determination and support, we can overcome even the toughest challenges.
I am running in support of someone close to me who has bravely faced a brain tumour diagnosis and undergone 12 rounds of chemotherapy (now on a journey of remission).
To honour her strength and resilience, I have given myself 12 weeks to train for this marathon. Until recently, my longest run was just 6km, so this is a significant challenge for me. However, I am determined to push my limits and show how amazing the human body can be.
Thank you for considering supporting me on this journey. Your encouragement and generosity mean the world to me and to those fighting this battle.
