Praeclarus Charity Skydive
Donation protected
Members of the Praeclarus team will be taking to the sky to raise money for our three chosen charities - Mental Health UK, Children's Adventure Farm Trust and Societi - The UK Kawasaki Disease Foundation.
Jason Palmer, Christopher Turner, Ian Schless and James St John will complete the skydive on Saturday 17th February, at Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club.
Let's get behind the Praeclarus team and help them get to their target! The monies raised will go towards supporting the amazing work that these 3 charities do:
Mental Health UK:
1 in 4 people in the UK has experienced a mental health problem. Mental Health UK works UK-wide, to deliver national and local services that enable and empower people to understand and manage their mental health in a person-centred and empathetic way. They provide support and services for some of the biggest societal challenges that pose a threat to people’s mental health, including money problems, navigating through the system to get the right support, understanding mental health, loneliness and isolation, and resilience in young people.
Children's Adventure Farm Trust:
CAFT helps children of all abilities aged 17 and under. Children who through no fault of their own miss out on the normalities of childhood. The needs of the children visiting the Farm are complex and range from severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses through to children who act as carers for a family member, to children who have already faced bereavement and children who have witnessed and been victims of abuse. For these children, a visit to CAFT provides a much-needed opportunity to have fun and laughter and to simply enjoy being children.
Societi - The UK Kawasaki Disease Foundation:
Societi is an organisation to raise awareness of Kawasaki Disease – a disease which affects hundreds of children in the UK each year. Progress in understanding Kawasaki Disease has been severely hampered by poor levels of awareness, a lack of investment and a lack of essential research in the UK. Kawasaki Disease is a medical emergency and they are working to get it recognised!
Whether it's a little or a lot, give as much as you can and make a huge difference to these fantastic charities. Every donation matters.
Thank you,
The Praeclarus Team
