Practical support for colleague attacked in ED

On 9th April, one of our extremely valued long-term locum ED consultants was stabbed in our ED. Our colleague sustained life-threatening injuries and has yet to make a full recovery. It is unclear if and when they may be able to return to work, which along with other complexities risks putting them in a difficult financial position. The ED consultants at North West Regional Hospital request your support for a dear colleague whose entire life has been deeply affected by this awful incident. We will continue to protect our colleague’s anonymity and all funds raised will go to them and their family.
