Hello! Thank you so much for clicking on this page. My name is Emily and I'm the very proud mumma of Ivy. Ivy is the BEST! She is Moana's number 1 fan, she loves getting out and about people watching, she loves birds and her beautiful doggy Winnie, she's the most content little thing and is pure sunshine to everyone she meets!

Ivy has chromosome abnormalities, a translocation of chromosomes 9&22 which means she have global development delay, low muscle tone and communicates different to most people. This means we need various pieces of equipment to make our lives easier and her life better!

The reason we have created this gofundme page is to help us raise money for 2 new comfortable supportive chairs for Ivy. She has currently outgrown her NHS beanbag and the seating we would like isn't available on the NHS. The chair we would like is called the Snooza chair!

The reason we would like this chair instead of the next size up beanbag (PPod) is simply because it's much more practical! It will support Ivy just as much, if not more, than her current chair but is much smaller...and has wheels!! So doing simple things like moving from one room to another means we can literally wheel her rather than get her out of her chair, lay her down somewhere safe, carry the chair into the room we are going in, go back and get Ivy, carry her into the room and popping her in her chair again.

Another reason is that these comfortable chairs are now a total necessity when we go away anywhere. Its not safe to sit Ivy on a sofa or bed because she can't hold herself, and to give you an idea of size, her current PPod can just about fit through a door. The next size up will be a total nightmare to move, let alone travel with! The new ones are so much simpler but with no compromise on the support she needs.

We are also fundraising for two as she is looked after by my wonderful parents every so often and she needs a chair at their house also to be safe.
