Hello, as many of you know mom Cassandra Dahler recently got diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Mom and I stayed in the hospital for five days this past week. Lots of X-rays, CT scans, blood work, and other tests were done in that time. Along with a few procedures done. Being that she had an excessive amount of fluid in her lung sac and chest cavity a thoracentesis had to be done and a chest tube had to be placed. All the fluid drained contained cancer cells. The doctor also found a small mass on her right lung hilar. With that being said, mom is gonna be starting chemotherapy here soon. We are meeting with all the specialists within the next few weeks to form a plan that is going to work best for her to hopefully shrink or get rid of the cancer. With all this going on the doctor is not allowing her to work for the next few months. We would incredibly appreciate any donations you are willing to give to help with medical expenses and bills.
