On April 26th 2021, Pamela's life changed in a blink of an eye. She just learned the swollen leg she went into the hospital to check out turned out to be a result of Myeloid Sarcoma.  It is a rare form of Leukemia- a solid collection of leukemic cells occurring outside of the bone marrow and with chemotherapy, is treatable. 

Pamela is a Paraprofessional that works with special education students. She also ran an after school program but due to the pandemic, it had to close and now she faces a financial loss. This sudden twist of fate has caused not only financial hardship, but taking an emotional toll on her, her husband and two young daughters.
