Riding for Racial Justice
Donation protected
We have started this GoFundMe in response to the uprising across the United States demanding that Black Lives Matter. We have all seen how racism and police brutality have taken the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony Mcade and so many more beloved souls. It is our duty to demand justice.
The proceeds will be split between the Advancement Project and ONE DC. These organizations work to eradicate racial and economic injustice
To make things a little more interesting we pledge to ride 1 mile for every dollar that is donated. That means if we hit our goal of raising $500 in the next few weeks, we would have to collectively ride 500 miles in one week.
If each of us were to ride an average of 12 miles an hour, it would take us 42 hours.
But really, if you want to see us suffer donate more money :)
Below are the links to each organization.
Advancement Project
We envision a future where people of color are free – where they can thrive, be safe, and exercise power. Driven by the genius of ordinary people and their movements, racism will no longer exist and justice will be radically transformed.
