Dave is very, very, ill. He is unable to work or do much of anything. He spends 19-20 hours a day, in bed. This has gone on for three months! He has Addison's Disease. It is a chronic illness that is fatal if left untreated. Currently, the only treatment he can get is with Oriental Medicine. It's minimally helping (he's awake 4 hours instead of 2 hours).
His is health insurance was cancelled by the state of Idaho, because he is too poor to qualify for insurance. (If he HAD $1,400/mo he could buy full cost insurance). He cannot get Medicaid because he is neither blind, nor disabled. A chronic, but treatable disease does not qualify for disability.
He is destitute and begging for help to defray his medical costs and to, hopefully, have enough funds to see an Endocrinologist specializing in Addison's Disease. PLEASE, any small amount will help!
