Luca has to have his entire colon removed We are being discharged from the hospital today and will be admitted Thursday morning and have surgery Friday. We will stay a week in the pediatric ICU as Luca recovers from this complex procedure. This surgery is not healing his hirshsprungs and comes with troubles that will most affect him 18-24 months after surgery. Thank you for the love and support. Continued prayers are welcomed as we are finding this not only be heartbreaking but life changing. Now's the part where I swallow my pride. I used my FMLA to be off work with my newborn for maternity leave. I am not able to have any other types of leave that help me financially and will have to be off with Luca for quite some time. Gustavo is working hard to provide but we can't make it on one Income. If any one of my banner friends or friends of banner friends has PTO they want to share, I am able to receive pto donations. I HATE to ask, but I'm almost desperate. I'm nervous to leave Luca is someone else's care during this critical time so if someone has some hours laying around and is able to help, Gustavo and I would be forever Indebted to you! We are also willing to do side projects or are up for suggestions to supplement income!
