Tia's Faith
I noticed a lump in my breast during this pandemic. I’m not going into details, but I was diagnosed with breast cancer September 4, 2020.
I have an AMAZING support system near and far. I appreciate the friends and family members who have prayed for me, opened up their homes, listened to me cry on the phone, checked up on me, sent me care packages, and have just been phenomenal/supportive the past 3 weeks. I am truly blessed and I have a SOLID support system!
Also, I’m extremely thankful for my medical team.
I have cried and now I am ready to fight with God and my support system by my side.
I look forward to strengthening my relationship with Christ and my support system during this journey. All I ask is to keep my family and I in your prayers during this time.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalms 18:1-2
Tia's Fight
Imagine being a 31 year-old African American female praying constantly for your 33 year-old brother who is battling colon cancer, and you wake up one morning to discover a lump in your breast. Tia's young age and the fact that she has triple negative breast cancer (estrogen and progesterone receptor negative and HER-2 protein negative) are signs that she is dealing with an aggressive fast growing cancer. This is a rare situation but appears to be more commonly found in young African-American females, less than 40 years old.
Treatments are expensive as well as filled with a number of unknown factors of how Tia will react to it. She needs all the assistance spiritually as well as economically. Just imagine being just 31 years young and finding a breast mass...
She needs help ... and quickly!

Tia's Funds
Separation from her family has been difficult for Tia. Fighting cancer during COVID-19 has been especially challenging and at times lonely. Tia's is hoping to raise $15,000. The funds are desperately needed to assist Tia with her move to San Antonio, Texas, so that she can continue her treatment with family by her side. In addition, the funds will be used to cover extremely high medical expenses that are going to be needed to fight this disease. Any help, small or large, would be appreciated. It is believed that what is given God will take it, mold it, and multiply it to take care of his child.

Please keep Tia in your prayers!❤️
