Help the Thomas Family

My name is Quiona Thomas, and my husband and love of my life Joseph Thomas was in a horrifying motor collision on June 15, 2021. He is currently in the ICU in critical care due to a traumatic brain injury and has undergone two craniotomies among other medical procedures. We share a two-year-old son Noah and 8yr old son Jaylon.

My husband was the sole financial provider as I am completing nursing school and raising our sons. Due to the global pandemic my husband lost his job only starting a new job several months ago. Like, so many families this has left us unable to afford insurance or establish any savings.

I am seeking financial support to pay basic utilities, rent, and meet the needs of my children. My husband is also in a Level 1 trauma hospital an hour away from our home and staying in hotels to be close to him is an added expense. My husband will require rehabilitation therapy once he is released from the hospital, and I am hoping to raise over 5,000.00 to start to cover our financial burdens.

There are no words to describe this time in my life, the fear, the worry and speculating if my family is going to be okay, it is beyond emotional comprehension. I am grateful for all the love and emotional support we have received from our friends and family.
