Support a Family in Need After Hurricane Helene

https://gofund.me/032d98f8 My family and I are hurricane Helene victims and have yet to receive help from FEMA because the bridges to get to our damaged address are still under repair and the inspector cannot get to the damaged address. Unfortunately, our only car got washed away. We barely escaped with our lives and were rescued by helicopter. I haven't gotten on Facebook to ask for any help thus far, kept hoping and praying that FEMA would finally be able to get there and give us some help, but that's not happened.

My paperless husband of 18 years is fighting a very serious colon cancer. We have doctor's appointments we have to get back and forth to, and everything. I've tried to get the Department of Human Services to help with a car. I've tried to get the Salvation Army to help with a car. I've even written to a nonprofit business that gives cars away to certain families in need. Unfortunately, there have been none donated in our area for them to give us, and so we still do not have a vehicle.

It is getting to where it's so expensive to go back and forth to the doctors through Uber, and we are running out of options. So, I'm turning to all of my friends and my Facebook family and asking, please, anything, any little bit will help. My goal is to raise $3,900. That would get us a vehicle free and clear. That is a very nice van, a 2007, and it would be something that would be reliable but not brand new. We're not asking for much. I just need help, please and thank you.
