My name is Roge Zortea, a native of Rio Grande do Sul. My state in Brazil is experiencing the worst tragedy in its history, with entire cities submerged under water due to severe flooding caused by unprecedented rainfall. Dozens have lost their lives, hundreds are missing, and 170 thousand people are displaced. Families shattered, dreams lost. Families have lost everything—every belonging, every photo, every physical memory. While my family is safe, we are deeply engaged in assisting those in need, including friends, neighbors, and acquaintances.
