Hello my name is Edwin Cajiao. I don’t like to bother anyone and have faced all my challenges head on as they come. Today however I’ve reached my limit. I have been diagnosed with lupus causing my life to alter completely. I was originally studying to become a special education teacher as well as a 1-5 elementary school teacher. When COVID hit my father passed away during my studies and I had to stop my career in order to become a provider for my mother. I found a job that helps me achieve it. I am now sick but according to government I make too much to qualify for health insurance. Now that in need it I can’t afford it and now I’m terrified to fit this bill. I’ve been diagnosed with lupus. My life is about to change but I still have the same goal and that is to take care of my mother as much as I can. I just need a push. Thank you to anyone who can help and anyone who can spare some nice words I feel anxious and scared.
