It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Jacob Anthony Garcia. On Sunday, March 10th, Jacob tragically lost his life as a result of a massive seizure. Jacob was only 28 years old.
Jacob’s parents, Ben Garcia (LASD - Major Crimes Bureau) and Oralia “Rae” Garcia (Retired - DA’s Office), are current and former LA County employees who have each dedicated over 30 years of service.
Ben and Rae would like Jacob to be remembered for: his love of life; his devotion to his family, brother (Luke), and dog (Dino); and his love of nature, camping, fishing, Legos, Dungeons & Dragons, volunteering at Sunday school, and mentoring autistic children.
Although we cannot begin to imagine the immense pain, heartache, and devastation that the Garcia Family have endured, we would like to offer them some relief with this unforeseen financial burden.
As such, we kindly ask for your consideration with making a donation, of any size, to assist the Garcias with their son’s costly funeral service and medical expenses.
