Tracy’s medical fund -

Tracy was unexpectedly taken the the emergency room a couple weeks ago for life threatening blood sugar levels over a weekend. He had insurance, so he’s covered, it’s okay, right? Initial diagnosis, type 2 diabetes and orders to get to the doctor right away, and some medication to last until then. His blood sugar spiked to a dangerous level again Sunday, so back we go, concerned for his well being. We have insurance, we’re okay, we think.
Fast forward a week, and we get a bill for 10K, because the “insurance” he was sold by a dishonest company isn’t medical insurance, it is really a coop that doesn’t have ER coverage. Had we known that, we would have found an open urgent care somewhere. It is was what it is, and we are in a real bind. Anything helps. Thank you
