This Gofundme is being created for my boyfriend Julius. All his life, since he was 9 months old, he has always struggled with his vision. He was diagnosed with Macular Scaring. No doctor will take the chance on surgery for the chance of going 100% blind. He has been missing out on life because he was never able to see. Everything he does, he has to use his glasses or look EXTRA close. In order to read his phone, it LITERALLY needs to be 4 inches from his face. In order to drive, he has to use Extra Special Driving Glasses just to be able to see the road. He even went and put a 75" TV in our apartment just so he can watch the TV with us. He has been at a disadvantage his entire life. Today Julius went to Kaiser to see the eye doctor and he got the opportunity to try on special glasses that allowed him to see 20/40 vision. It has changed his life! With these special glasses, he was able to see aclear  cross the street, new colors he has never seen before, STREET SIGNS AND LIGHT COLORS! It was a whole new world for him! He got to see people walking from far away...Never in  his life did he ever believe he would be able to see clearly, but today, he did! He got to experience what we experience everyday. He was given the blessing of Vision, only for it to be taken back...because the special glasses costs $1700!!!
