My brother, Jason, suffered sepsis (blood infection) in early May and had to have an emergency surgery to amputate part of his foot. He’s been in the hospital since undergoing many tests and procedures. He’ll need several skin grafts and tissue rebuilding procedures on both feet, as well as rehabilitation over the next few months. He’s not allowed to put pressure on his feet for a while. He’s unable to work through the summer and possibly into the next school year.
