Rock 4 Recovery

Story

There comes a time in every organization that you hit a bump In the road. Some bumps you just roll over and move on, some not so much. Today, Rock 4 Recovery has hit one of those bumps and is asking for your help. We received our eviction notice and have till April 3rd to come up with $4,500 or be forced to move out. I can go into what got us to this point, but bottom line is as a non-profit money has been tight. Every penny donated thus far, has been used to catch us up on rent and pay electricity. For those that don't know, part of my disability pension pays the rent for Rock 4 Recovery when donations aren't enough. I believe in this program, I've seen its results in the faces of my fellow warriors, and civilians that have volunteered for us. Every year we feed over 200 + veterans during thanksgiving, and partner with Lone Star Veterans to give toys to veterans families during Christmas . Since its inception Rock 4 Recovery had sent hundreds of veterans to concerts through our Beyond the Stage program. Numerous national touring musicians gave their time to meet and greet veterans from our program, most notably Kiss, and Motley Crüe. Today I ask you to help save a studio that serves our community, our veterans and their families. It's taken three years to build it, thousands of dollars and hundreds of volunteers, with a lot more potential for greater things. Any amount will help, and is tax deductible, our goal Is to just catch up and be able to move on. Anything extra will go into helping our warriors. Various fund raisers are being planned for April and will be announced soon.
