Help Support Patricia Teves

I am creating this Go Fund Me to help support my parents. On Wednesday, February 10th my mother was unexpectedly diagnosed with a large brain tumor. She was immediately admitted into the hospital. The following day a biopsy determined the tumor was cancer, about the size of a golf ball and had grown roots around and inside the brain. My mother will need to stay in the hospital and heal from the biopsy procedure and undergo a month of chemo therapy (in attempt to shrink the tumor) before they can do the brain surgery she needs.

The reason I am reaching out publicly to family and friends is that my parents live a very simple life in the small delta town of Rio Vista. My father, who also has cancer (Multiple Myllonoma) is a car salesman and his job supports himself and my mother paycheck to paycheck. Prior to this tragedy my parents were already facing hard financial times after their adjustable rate mortgage went sky high. They recently had to cancel my mother's medical coverage because of this. My dad will indefinitely have to stop working to care for my mother throughout her journey of brain cancer and will therefore have no income. My goal is to reach out through Go Fund Me to help provide them a cushion for medical expenses and to get by until they can apply and qualify for any assistance that may be available for people in their situation.
