Dear Friends,
We hear it all the time: “life is so precious”, “make the best of it”, however, daily obligations make it natural for us to lose sight of these sentiments. On March 28, 2021, many of us were profoundly reminded just how sacred life is when Jennifer Bauer-Tibor entered into eternal rest after a valiant (and oftentimes stubborn ;) battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). GBM is the most aggressive type of brain tumor, and it is extremely rare. Jen had already proven herself a true warrior having conquered breast cancer only five years earlier. Regardless of her suffering, Jen continued to keep a positive attitude. Her favorite saying over the past few months was “It is what it is.” This just shows her immense character.
Jen was a loving mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, teammate and educator. For nearly 25 years, she not only taught middle-school science, but she also taught those around her to be humble, curious, kind, and most definitely adventurous! She had such a passion for soccer and enjoyed her many tournaments with her soccer pals.
Especially for Jen’s three children, her husband, parents, and brothers, it feels utterly impossible to process why Jen left so soon and so sudden. The family was not prepared emotionally or financially for this unimaginable loss. With that, Jen’s family is asking for your support with the high cost of funeral expenses with all remaining donations going toward education funds for her three beloved children.
