Help Scott's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, My name is Kirstie,

On July 31, 2024 my 12 year old son, Scott, was found unresponsive and transported to St Johns in Longview, WA. He was in critical condition, so they airlifted him to Randall's Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. After a brave fight, and many years of suffering from mental illness, he gained his wings August 1st, 2024. We have two other small children at home and are needing financial help for funeral expenses as well as any bills that may arise while my husband takes time off of work to be with our little family. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please, hug your babies close and remind them how much you love them every single day. Words cannot express the grief in our hearts as we try to work our way through this.

We moved to Kelso, WA almost a year ago to have a fresh start, Scott struggled for years and our hope was to get him better help out here. He was such a loving, sweet, caring boy who would do anything for anyone if the time came. He had such a good heart and an infectious smile that would light up the whole room. His little sister and him were thick as thieves. Anywhere he would go, she would be right behind him no matter how much he annoyed her and she him, they'd be right back to playing as if nothing happened 5 minutes later. He will be greatly missed by many.
