With tens of thousands of confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in New York City, our hospitals and healthcare system are starting to become overwhelmed. Healthcare workers are treating patients with limited personal protective equipment (PPE) and putting themselves at risk every day to care for sick New Yorkers. They need our help and they need it now.
Through our partnership with quip , the oral health company based in Brooklyn NY, we are able to work with world-leading medical device suppliers to produce and procure CDC-accepted KN95 masks for donation to hospitals in our heavily affected NYC home. quip has already donated 5,000 masks - but we want to do more.
Our goal is to fundraise at least $7,000 or 5,000 masks ($1.40 USD per mask).
In addition to their initial donation, quip will be MATCHING 1-for-1 the first 5,000 mask donations from this fund. For every mask you buy, they will buy one for a healthcare worker in need.
We will be donating these masks to the PPE to NYC and DonatePPE organizations who will distribute masks to hospitals like:

CORNELL HOSPITAL
MT. SINAI HOSPITALS
NY PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITALS
