PPE for Medical Professionals

The team at Hatch has been closely following the news for the past few weeks.  Events and trade shows started to postpone and cancel - slowly at first, then all at once.  We've heard about the massive personal and professional sacrifices being made by our industry peers, and have worked our hardest to protect our small team.  Despite our efforts, on Friday, March 20th, we were forced to make the heartbreaking choice to suspend operation during this global crisis.

The next morning, we watched Governor Cuomo's speech while making breakfast with our kids and adjusting to the new reality.  New York's shortage of PPE got us thinking: What can we do to help?  We rallied the troops and began prototyping on Sunday, March 22nd.

With a talented staff and world-class equipment we are focusing on manufacturing protective face shields and disposable gowns.  The headgear and face shield have been reviewed by several medical facilities and have been ordered and shipped in bulk to locations in Michigan, Maryland and Arizona thus far.

While some facilities are able to purchase PPE in bulk, others are forced to rely on donations from companies like Hatch and people like you.  Every dollar donated will go directly to the production and delivery of PPE to medical providers in need.  Currently, a $10 donation can provide a custom headgear/shield unit and a $15 donation can provide a medical gown.

We want to help, and we know that you do as well.  Together we can help deliver critical aid to our frontline responders.
