PPE for NE (3D Printed Face Shields)
The Omaha 3D Printing Community is uniting to manufacture Face Shields for our Medical Professionals and First Responders
We have connected with many of these medical facilities and could use your help!
Our initial goal is 1000 Face Shields for which our cost is $1000. !!Completed!!
Secondary Goal of 2000 face shields !!Completed!!
Our next goal is to continue to provide face shields and other PPE to Nebraska as long as there is a need and we have funding for supplies
The funds will go to cover:
- Plastic used to print the primary headband component
- PVC Transparent Sheets for the front shield
- Elastic bands to ensure a firm fit
Any unused donations will be donated back to the Omaha Covid-19 response fund to provide resources for others organizations responding to this event
