We are here in Oakland, CA raising money to purchase masks, gowns, face shields and other forms of PPE for our doctors, nurses and medical staff on the front lines of fighting the coronavirus.
You can make a difference here. All our donations will be going to Alameda Health System - including Highland Hospital in Oakland . If we are lucky enough to grow our fundraising we will include other regional hospitals as well.
We have been coordinating directly with medical equipment manufacturers in Asia directly sourcing medical supplies like protective masks and gowns. Hospitals have miles of bureaucratic red tape and few vetted suppliers. They are struggling to pivot their supply chains and are currently dependent on limited federal stockpiles.
We can step in now to provide masks for our nurses, doctors and medical providers. Please donate today. This is the time to make a difference.
100% of all donations will go toward purchasing PPE. Our first priority are masks, as tings progress we will adapt our donations to meet the current needs by local hospitals.
Time is not on our side. We can't afford that our health workers become sick due to lack of adequate PPE. We are in this together.
