Hi there, My name is Robert Gonzales. I am the owner of Sunshades Tint & Sound, located in Austin, TX. We are a Window Tinting Car Audio Shop. With the Pandemic. We too are experiencing, like many others have found ourselves on lockdown. We are all truly in this together on this one. As I read this Virus is an EOI ( Equal Opportunity Infector) . Reminding me of something that we would see on Tales of the Crip. It is unreal and has shocked the Nation. So Covid19 is here in Travis County and our surrounding areas. What do we do? The Lockdown is announced. Our business just like others are completely shutdown. Back to our Car Audio Shop side of things. One of our industry partners (@JK Automotive Designs) designed and shared this idea and made the call to utilize our tools. Owning these tools made it easy for me to say Lets Do This! We can be Essential!
We own two of these machines that are capable of putting out 5-6 Hundred mask a day. These Laser Cut shields you see are being produced in House at our location on Research Blvd. We are donating these to the local hospitals and doctors offices across Austin, including the emergency response units we have. If your unit surrounds Austin, we are also doing this for you. These mask are designed to be sanitized and reused. Allowing the first responders on the frontlines to be protected and meet the needs of PPE for Austin, TX. With the shortage of PPE we will do all we can to help our community. We have purchased materials and have in production over 1100 mask at this time. With 225 delivered units. We started this Friday Morning. Our goal is to produce 10000+ mask for Austin. We have an Industrial supplier that we have a relationship through our wholesale goods from our business. They are ready to supply us with all we can purchase.
