Dear friends and family...My granddaughter Avery has been diagnosed with a life-threatening virus in her spine called Transverse Myelitis. The amazing  Doctors and Staff at UCSF Oakland Benioff Children’s Hospital are working around the clock to find a cure. Currently, she has no feeling from the neck down and is being kept sedated due to all the machines she is hooked up to.  Our family is by her side every moment.
