PPCC Golf Day

The Phaeo and Para Cancer Charity is having its second golf day with the support of Blairgowrie Golf Club on Friday 22nd April 2022.

The charity was set up to help raise funds for research into this rare cancer and we will get an update on progress from Professor Gordon Stewart chairman of the scientific committee on the day.

The format for the fun golf competition will be:

- Arrive any time in the morning and take advantage of playing the Wee course for a nominal sun of only £12.50. (Tee Off time must be booked directly with Blairgowrie golf club)

- Bacon rolls, tea and coffee will be served between 12 noon and 13.00.

- The competition will begin with a shotgun start at 13.30 comprising teams of four. The competition will be played over The Lansdowne course.

- The format will be best two Stapleford scores on each hole with full handicap allowance.

- There will also be a longest drive and nearest the pin for both ladies and gentlemen and a novelty event at each short hole.

- After the game a complimentary drink will be given and then on to the popular “Rosemount Meal” including wine. After the meal we will have our prize giving for some excellent prizes.

The Charity would be delighted if you would consider participating in such a worthy event, either personally or better still with your own team of four. We have, with the help of the Golf Club, been able to secure an excellent ‘all inclusive’ rate of only £360 per team or £90.00 per person. Members of Blairgowrie golf club have a reduction to £300 per team or £75 per person.
