Nilda, the eldest child of thirteen kids, grew up in El Salvador. She has always been a very strong woman, constantly helping family members and friends all of her life. She moved from El Salvador to California with her children and husband to give her children a better life. She knocked on doors asking for work; and, her work ethic and honesty slowly built her business, Nilda's Cleaning.
Nilda is the type of woman who keeps her home open to family and friends. She would definitely make sure you never went hungry and had everything you needed to feel comfortable in her home. She always had encouraging words about her saviour Jesus Christ to any who would listen. Her faith was her strength and her joy mixed in one.
She's had to conquer many battles in her life and now she's facing the hardest one ever...the fight for her life. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer and we are asking for any love donations that can be used to pay off medical bills, supplies and medications. Since chemotherapy has not given any hope of cure, she wanted to try alternative medicine in hopes to reverse the cancer. However, the medical supplies, treatments, and medications for the alternative medicine are not covered by medical insurance. Any help will be a blessing and would relieve financial burden for Nilda and her family.
As hard as this journey has been for all who love and care for her, we have seen beauty in her character, her resilience and her faith in God despite the circumstances. That speaks volumes in itself. Please continue to keep the whole family in prayer during this devastating time. We know one thing that Nilda has held onto... this world is not all there is, she's got a beautiful heaven that awaits her, a place of no pain, no sorrow and no tears.
