Hello, my name is Christopher Amaro. In behalf of my family and especially my father. I am not a person that ask people for help or donations or any of the sort. But as to the reason for this “gofundme”, it is to raise money for his funeral expenses. Day and night my mother took care of him for about 2 years; fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We had hope, he had so much hope, to overcome this battle. I am happy that he’s no longer suffering and in pain. But like my family, I am truly saddened that he lost the battle. He wasn’t the perfect father but he was the best father we could ever have. He sacrificed, he fought, he gave, he laughed, he enjoyed life like any other person would. His love to his children resembled in his words and actions. He wanted the best for each one of us. Therefore, we would like to honor him and give back to him even though he’s no longer with us. The donations will be strictly for the funeral expenses and be greatly appreciated by me and my family. So thank you!
