Powering Communities: Three Peaks Challenge for Clean Energy

Imagine life without electricity. No lights. No way to charge your phone. No power to keep food fresh or run a small business.

For many communities around the world, that’s not hypothetical – it’s reality.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Wind Empowerment, an incredible organisation helping build small, sustainable wind turbines in places where power is scarce. Their next project is in Ghana, where they’ll be running hands-on workshops to teach local communities how to construct, maintain, and manage their own wind turbines. It’s about more than just energy – it’s about empowering people with the skills to build their own future.

We want to help make that happen.

To raise funds, our team at PACE is taking on the Three Peaks Challenge on 28–29 June – climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales in under 24 hours. We’re pushing ourselves physically to support a project that’s pushing for real change.

Our goal is to raise £5,000 – every penny going directly towards the construction of a wind turbine and the workshops in Ghana.
